I grew up right here in Milwaukee where I attended high school, college, and graduate school. I didn't always know I wanted to be a musician, but God put some wonderful people in my life that encouraged me and helped me to see that I had a knack for music. I had hoped to use my music degrees in the secular world, but God had another plan for me. In 2005, I was called into full-time music ministry at a church in the Washington, DC area, where I served for almost eleven years. I am excited to be back in my hometown and serving at St. John's since July 2016. I remain a single guy, and I have many passions other than music, which include cooking and food, traveling, architecture and design, mixology, following the Brewers, Bucks and Packers, and spending time with friends and family.
My Hope for St. John's
My hope is that the people of St. John's and the surrounding community will see this church as a place to come to lay their problems and faults before God and receive the comfort and joy that only comes through Christ. May that message of God's grace always pour forth in our music and worship!
