Moms Are A Mess (MA'AM)

Mission

Gathering to discover how we can find wellness, wholeness, and belonging as women loved by Christ.

Rooted in Scripture

Jesus, the God who became one of us to bring peace to our restless souls says to us in John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

What is MA’AM?

Being a mom can be messy. But you don’t have to struggle on this journey alone! Join other moms, like you-who are in all ages and stages of their mom journey. Discover the joy and encouragement that comes from being together.

What we’ve looked at so far:

For embracing a unique role

An interpersonal relationship between mom and child plays a vital part in a child’s development. Nurturing moms will have a strong, lasting bond with their children that will continue to grow stronger over time.

  • Video series by Paul Tripp
  • Parenting 14 Gospel Principles that can Radically Change your Family

For breaking through the isolation

Loneliness and isolation from other peers is a reality moms face daily. Being a part of this group is to be known and understood. A chance to interact with fellow moms is critical in this phase of life if it is going to be more than survival.

  • Book and Video by Timothy Keller
  • The Prodigal God
  • Listening to Podcasts
  • Taking turns each reading a chapter of the New Testament during our gathering time

For Understanding Motherhood is Ministry

Our children are the most lasting and meaningful disciples we will have. Let’s remind ourselves that every day with them is an eternal investment.
