Campaign Prayer Heavenly Father, as we embark on our "Creating Connections" campaign, we thank You for creating the greatest connection of all. In Your love, You sent Your Son, Jesus, into the world to redeem us lost and condemned creatures. Jesus accomplished His mission through His perfect life for us, and, with His death, paid the full debt of our sins. Working through the Word and Sacraments, the Holy Spirit connected us by faith to Jesus as our Savior who lived, died and rose again for the forgiveness of our sins and life with You in heaven forever. All this is due to Your amazing grace, Heavenly Father! Now may Your love for us in Jesus unite our family of faith at St. John's to work together to accomplish our goal in this campaign. Recognizing that "unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1), we ask Your blessing on our campaign so that we can better serve our family of faith and also the people of our community who may still be looking for a spiritual home. In Jesus' name we pray this. Amen
