I grew up in Brookfield, Wisconsin and attended St. John's Wauwatosa, Wisconsin Lutheran High School, and Wisconsin Lutheran College. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in grade school where I looked up to many of my teachers and coaches as role models. I then saw what an impact a teacher or coach can have on a student, even at a young age. In 2014, I graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College and worked as the Extended Learning Teacher at St. John's Wauwatosa for the remainder of the school year. After working there for a semester, I received a call to St. John's as the second grade teacher and have been there since 2015. I have been happily married to my husband also since 2015, and we reside in the Milwaukee area. I enjoy coaching/playing volleyball, traveling, reading, watching/going to Packer and Brewer games, and spending time with friends and family.
My Hope for St. John's School
My hope for St. John's is that the students know that they are loved not only by their teachers, but most importantly by their Savior. I also pray that the students try their best in all they do and give God the glory!
