I grew up in New Ulm, MN where I attended grade school, high school and college. My dad was a professor at Martin Luther College (MLC), so making the decision to become a teacher seemed pretty easy. I met David in college and we got married right after I graduated. Since David was in the military at the time we had the awesome opportunity to live in Germany where he was stationed for over 2 years. While we lived in Germany we enjoyed traveling to many of the surrounding countries and taking in the local culture. When we returned to the states we lived in New Ulm again while David finished his degree at MLC and I worked in the trust business. We have served at a number of different congregations over the years. It has been such a blessing to see God’s work done in different locations, with different people while the message has never changed. We have 3 children. This year we are trying out the “empty nest” stage of life. (The jury is still out on if we like it or not….) Clay is living in Madison, Ben is in his second year at MSOE and Ellie has started her freshman year at Carroll University. During my free time I love to travel, spend time with my family and being outdoors.
My Hope for St. John's School
My hope for St. John’s is that the Lord continues to bless the work that is being done here. We have been given the awesome opportunity to share the message of our risen Savior with many little ones. May the message of God’s great love follow them all their days!
