My Story

I grew up in Fort Atkinson, WI where my dad served as a pastor for many years. His influence led me to study for the ministry. After graduating from the Seminary in 1994 I have enjoyed serving as pastor to congregations in Montana and North Dakota and now here at St John’s in Milwaukee since 2013. I married my wife Stacy in 1995 and God has blessed us with three children, Ben, Jake, and Sarah. I enjoy living in Milwaukee and my interests include outdoor activities, live music, following our state’s sports teams, and spending time with our family.

My Hope for St. John's

My hope is that St. John’s is seen by the people of our community as a place that is here for them and that God will use the ministries of St. John’s church and school to provide people of our congregation and community with the security and significance only Jesus, our Savior, can give us.
