My Story
I grew up north of Milwaukee, in Jackson WI. I was blessed to be able to attend Christian schools growing up where I learned a lot about my Savior. During my seminary years, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes while traveling in Argentina. While T1 diabetes is difficult, I truly believe it’s a blessing that God has given as I have met and counseled many T1 families. After graduating from seminary, I was able to serve in Appleton, WI and then in East Brunswick, NJ.
I’m excited to be a part of the St. John’s family! My wife, Julie, and I have two young daughters, Emi and Maggie. I love to spend time outdoors, traveling, and eating delicious food, sometimes all at the same time.
My hope for St. John’s
In a world where there’s a lot of hurt and sadness, I pray that St. John’s be viewed as a place where you can find real answers to questions you’re having. My hope is that we grow together in love for Jesus and grow together in sharing that love in every way. I pray that the empowering message of God’s love and forgiveness shine in our community.
