My Story

I grew up near Detroit, MI with my parents and two younger sisters. I attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary, one of the WELS' preparatory schools, for high school. I continued my education at Martin Luther College, in New Ulm, MN. I met my husband while attending college; we were married our senior year! I always thought I would teach the upper grades, but God has his own plans and I happily enjoy teaching K4. Thursdays offer a chance for me to make a joyful noise for the Lord playing handbells in St. John's Adoration choir. I also like to play video games, board games, watch movies, and gather together with friends during my free time.

My Hope for St. John's School

I have seen great growth at St. John's Lutheran School during my service. It is my hope that we continue to serve as an excellent school in our community where children and their families hear the good news of salvation in Christ. I pray that God will equip our teachers, staff, leaders, and members with the tools and talents needed to be the best witnesses of God's love in a world full of sin.
